What is Restless Voices?

Basically it's short stories, really short.

I'm Nick Warren and I try to waste five minutes each day on pointless creativity. Restless voices is the result.

You can follow the naked stories on Twitter, or stay here for the notes and self-congratulation.

I'm a husband & father, and in my spare time I run Semantic, the UK's most relaxed web studio.

I try not to overthink things.

"As I scientist I recognise that everything is relative... except my relatives. They appear to be consistent in their weirdness."

All families are weird. I think it's a rule.

In fact if your family is not at least a little weird... well that would be weird, which takes you back full circle. Maybe slight to middling weirdness is the normal state of family groups.

Or something...

Family weirdness is so common there has to be an equation for it. One of the exponents would be D = the distance you live away from your family. I'm sure there is an inverse relationship between D and W (w = weird factor). Throw in H (H = hierarchy of birth), S (number of siblings), Fm (Fave of Mom), Fd (Fave of Dad), and I (annual income - net) and I'm sure you could come up with quite the formula!!!

Only being a fan of science and mathematics (and not either by trade) I'm not sure of how to assemble this formula - but come on - those components are great!
